 When you had that tree cut down you may have thought that the tree stump would not bother you, but now it is  an eye sore,
 L A Stump Grinders  have the solution for its removal by grinding away the stump with special machinery.
 Tree stumps can often be dangerous, sitting just above the earth where people can easily trip over them.
They become an eyesore and prevent landscaping and installation of other features;
just because the tree has been chopped down it doesn't mean it is dead, shoots often grow from the stump as the tree tries to re-grow,
roots may continue to grow and spoil pathways or ornamental walls etc..
Another problem with tree stumps is Honey Fungus  which can spread disease to other trees and plants in your garden.

We have been called out many times to remove a tree stump that has been treated when chemicals after the tree has been cut down;
unfortunately this method can take several years to work.

The stump is ground down to small wood chippings which can be used as mulch.
We use screening when using the stump grinder to stop any debris from damaging your property.

We are not tree surgeons and only remove stumps but regularly refer work to tree surgeons around the area.
The picture above is of a thirty year old tree that the owner decided was too large for the garden.

All that was left of the stump when we had finished were the chippings created by the stump grinder.
We can remove these chippings if you wish, but they really are good for using as  mulch. around the garden.
